Doch auch mit einigen Überraschungen wartet die über 300 Werke umfassende Ausstellung auf. Sein gerade in Europa bislang kaum beachtetes dichterisches Werk in Nähe zur Konkreten Poesie kommt ebenso zum Zug wie die fast vergessenen Assemblagen aus Fundstücken namens Dada Forgeries, die Ende der 1950er Jahre entstanden. Höchst süffisant zerlegte Andre darin den massiven Einfluss von Marcel Duchamp auf die Moderne.
