Mit rund f\u00fcnfzig Werken liefert die umfassende Retrospektive in den KW einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hreinn_Fri\u00f0finnsson\">Hreinn Fri\u00f0finnssons<\/a> Schaffen, das sich mittlerweile \u00fcber ein halbes Jahrhundert erstreckt. Es ist zudem die erste institutionelle Einzelausstellung des isl\u00e4ndischen K\u00fcnstlers in Deutschland.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mitue\/48826437156\/in\/dateposted\/\" title=\"Hreinn Fridfinnsson\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/48826437156_858fde2883.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Hreinn Fridfinnsson\"><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the early 1970s, the Icelandic artist Hreinn Fri\u00f0finnsson (b. 1943, Iceland) placed an advert in a Dutch art magazine asking people to send him their secrets. By posing as a collector of secrets, the artist would, he thought, allay suspicions that he had any ulterior motive in using or revealing privileged information that might come his way. It is like something from a novel by Jos\u00e9 Saramago, or an urban myth or rumour. The secret, Fridfinnsson may be telling us, is that there isn\u2019t one. His art, on the other hand, is an invitation to imagine that there might be.
