Bound up like a pocket-book or in a carrying case, Claude glasses were used by artists, travelers and connoisseurs of landscape and landscape painting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mitue\/48917990227\/in\/dateposted\/\" title=\"Claude Mirrors\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/48917990227_78ddd9013c.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"493\" alt=\"Claude Mirrors\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Claude Mirrors is a story of decapitated truths of identity, of dark and cryptic worlds and hallucinatory tableaux that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Victor_Man\">Victor Man<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jill_Mulleady\">Jill Mulleady<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlosishikawa.com\/artists\/issywood\/\">Issy Wood<\/a> pull us into. None of the three painters allow for a clear reading of their work \u2013 the powerful nature of their paintings lays within these coats of abstraction which hold up the uncertainty instead of resolving it.
