Aya BEN RON
Aya BEN RON (*1967, ISR) examines the pathological, both, the abberations of the invididual and society. With artistic means, BEN RON reflects the fascination of injury, suffering, or disease, dissecting the handling of medicine with injured and maimed – human or social – bodies. She studied at the Goldsmiths College, London, and her multidisciplinary practice includes sculpture, video and drawing, amongst others. Her works were exhibited all over the world from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, MOCA Shangai, Fotomuseum Winterthur, Van Abbemuseum up to the Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin.
