Kunst in Kopenhagen (6)

The [new] extension [of ARKEN] will be inaugurated with two exhibitions, one focusing on Russian-German painter Andreas Golder, the other consisting of over 100 works by the Skagen group of painters who worked in Northern Denmark in the late 19th century. One room will be entirely devoted to a display of eight works by Damien Hirst on loan from the collection of the London-based Danish collector Jytte Dresing. Ms Dresing—who acquired art with her late husband, Dennis—has also lent work by Asger Jorn to the Louisiana Museum for Modern Art in Humlebaek.
