Das Rainbow Panorama bildet einen 150 Meter langen, drei Meter breiten und etwa drei Meter hohen Rundweg aus Glas in allen Facetten des Farbspektrums. Aufgestellt auf schmalen Säulen, dreieinhalb Meter über der neuen Dachterrasse, reicht der Regenbogen-Ring mit seinen 52 Metern Durchmesser auch über die Seiten des kubistischen Baus des ARoS hinaus – mit Blick in schwindelerregende Tiefe.
Skovanordning is a machine built by Henrik Menne, producing organic objects all through the exhibition period. The objects consist of different kinds of organic liquids appearing in the shape of a big flower or mushroom.
Whether they are dynamic or static; sculptures by Henrik Menné are basically about process, balance and about organizing matter through both rigid systems and chance.
Saturday 3 June is the opening day for the two final parts of the ARoS Triennial The Garden – End of Times, Beginning of Times. The Present and The Future will introduce visitors to more than 30 works by Danish and international contemporary artists. Major names include Fujiko Nakaya, Doug Aitken, Alicja Kwade, Tomás Saraceno, Katharina Grosse, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Simon Starling, Tacita Dean, Yto Barrada, Elmgreen & Dragset og Superflex, and 24 of the works were created especially for the Triennial.
The Present and The Future will take place on the roof of ARoS, in the heart of Aarhus, at the Natural History Museum, Aarhus, in the park Mindeparken, in the street M.P. Bruuns Gade, at the local nightclub Shen Mao, in several warehouses in the city’s industrial harbour, and along a coastal stretch from Tangkrogen to Ballehage.
Bei unserem Spaziergang entlang der Küste von Tangrogen bis zum Strand von Ballehoge konnten wir auf einer unendlichen Brücke ein Stück übers Meer laufen.

Anssi Pulkkinen & Taneli Rautiainen, Constrained view
Anssi Pulkkinen and Taneli Rautiainen work with sculptures, installations and moving images with an interest in space and architecture, favouring distortion of the norm as the approach for their art. For The Garden, they have created ‘Constrained view’, a two-part installation around questions of freedom, movement, augmented reality and different notions of the pace of time. The artwork consists of a billboard depicting the bridge between Copenhagen and Malmö, which appears to be broken, and a car filled with seawater lifted up in the air. The water constantly flows out of the car, in essence making the car work like a fountain.
2003 fand eine Ausstellung mit Werken von Ron Mueck im Hamburger Bahnhof statt.
Im Kunstmuseum Aarhus sahen wir jetzt Muecks großen Jungen von 1999.
